It's time for a new crazy idea

The pan-european huge LARP project Dragonbane will have a village bakery. I just emailed their info-adress to find out details. If they build the oven in addition to all other things they've promised, and if the bakery group can be made large enough to facilitate a decent work load, then it might just be worth €125 to participate in that LARP...

And besides. I -am- a master baker by now.

Yup, I did say that. And all I've done so far is send an email inquiring about what they've been doing and planning for their bakery. It'll be several months until I do anything decent about it... :)

They have a quite radical attitude towards groups (i.e. you don't get to choose one - you talk rôles over with their coordinators and get slotted a place that fits...), so regardless of what happens this won't be a LARP requiring huge group preparations of the sort we had for Kejsartemplet. OTOH, if I go, I will want it to have the family closeness and familiarity we had at KT - so I will more or less demand quite a lot of preparatory contact within the villagers.

Roy? Who's Roy? I don't think about him normally - so what's to stop me from dreaming LARP dreams when not thinking about Roy?

Group in-joke.

It started (back in 1993, I think) with someone telling Roy to lie down and not think about Lanfear. It evolved to "lie down and not think about Roy" pretty quickly.
