Packed completely full
Aug. 6th, 2004 11:33 pmJag är HELT jävla packad.
Now, at last, some 9-9½ hours before the first valiant helpers will show up, all my stuff is stuffed somewhere. Disconnecting my computer and packing the bedclothes I'll be sleeping in is what remains to do. We have by far enough people showing up (the more the merrier! =), we have a preliminary itinerary (Fill the truck at my place. Go to IKEA, buy a bedsofa and four chairs on credit. Go on to Susanne's place and fill the truck up with her stuff. Hopefully managing to get everything in on the first run =) and I have even picked my desk down into its components. The only obnoxiuos things'll be my bed and my wardrobe (long things, and the staircase down turns)
And I have burned incense, cinnamon, muscovado sugar and vanilla and sacrificed bandwidth and chocolate to Ganesha, Papa Legba and Hermes asking for safe and smooth passage. One of my friends wanted support from me when I was performing the ceremony, and was told "Not now. I'm praying." --- To anyone who has heard my opinions on religions, this is one of the most confusing things I can tell someone. =)
