michiexileRobin Sloan, who wrote the magical Mr. Penumbra's 24h book store, and later on wrote, as a challenge, the weird The wrong plane during a single flight, is doing a Kickstarter project to fund a book about a different kind of San Francisco.
It seems like it will be Absolutely Awesome.
Now, here's what's up: his project is #2 on Kickstarter.com, trailing only behind an art project about Obama - and so he just now lowered the entry barrier for supporting the project for the last 4 days of the fundraising phase: for just $1 you can become a supporter, get access to the authorship process and get an e-book when he's all done.
And you should. Because he's worth it. And because it's a fun end-drive for a project that already raised about 4x the original fundraising goal. And YOU can be part of making this happen.
