I'm leaving .... on a jetplane

In just over 2 hours, the Regionalexpress to Göttingen leaves Jena Westbahnhof, hopefully with me onboard, since if not, I'll have serious problems.
In Göttingen, I'll change trains to a ICE to Hanover, and then in Hanover take the commuter train to the airport. I'll arrive (if everything goes smoothly) at the airport at 16.22. At 17.50, my airplane is scheduled to take off, leaving me just over an hour to get through the lines to the checkin, and hopefully reasonable amounts of time to get through security.
Leaving me with exciting questions such as:
"Under the new EU regulations, is my pen considered a liquid container?" (I leave my fountain pen at home, since it's refillable)
"What will security do when they spot my Habañero chiles in a pot, put inside a litre measuring glass for protection?"
"Without access to any scales, have I managed to guess my luggage weight above or below the mandated 20kg?"
