Thesis done

My doctoral thesis just got mailed to the university press. I'll go there myself on Monday to pick out cover design and talk through the delivery with them.

Holy ****. I'm done.

And congratulations again. I have to say that I like the language in your dissertation more than mine---it reads much easier. (Now if I could understand all the words... ;-) ).

I have had quite a bit of help with the language (apart from my own 1337 skillz accumulated over the years) - my advisor is from the UK, did his PhD at Cambridge, and has had a lot of language-cleanup-comments in the last few rereads.

And besides, I subscribe to John Baez' school of Mathematics As Stories - and have tried to Tell The Story of How To Compute A-infinity Structures. It helps that I aim the dissertation at two different crowds of mathematician, neither of which knows all too much about the other field...

I'm very sorry I wasn't able to help more with your thesis - job applications, and the juggling convention, and my own thesis, and N other things intervened :-(
