That's the one. It has me drooooooooooooooling.

On the other hand, I started gleaning at the latex-suite tutorial with the same LJ-post as initiator, and it looks -neat- as well.

To put in the obligatory flamewar poke: I'm an emacs boy who's lately realized vi is good for a thing or two as well. (Config file editing with vi is MUCH more comfortable, for instance - I'd have to mess up to actually change anything without meaning to, and the change-until commands have won my heart)

Preview-mode in the later editions of aucTeX. What I did more specifically was

USE+="preview-mode" sudo emerge auctex

and then hacked my .emacs until it worked on this machine. :)
