I just calculated the cohomology of the dihedral group on eight elements (i.e. the symmetry group of the square). Go me!

It's an old (probably 1930 - 1950 sometime) instruction film showing all symetry axises/planes in a cube (and there is lots of them), using a physical model of a cube, and a mirror placed in the symetry plane currently beeing shown. It is shown (or at least, it used to be shown, as part of the "n0llning" at EE, KTH.

I guess what you've done was more theoretical? :-)

S4, IIRC. *googles* It seems to be S4 x C2.

There's a PhD student at Glasgow who does a lot of this sort of stuff - I could put you in touch if you like...
