My wife still doesn't understand timezones
Jan. 8th, 2009 05:13 am4am. I'm fast asleep. Then my phone starts ringing.
Me: Gruuuh?
Wife: Hey dear. Just wanted to tell you that I've arrived in SF now.
Me: Huuuh? That's good. You know that it's 4am here, right?
Wife: Oh. I thought it was the other way around - that when it's 4am here (PST), it'll be 1am there (EST).
Now I'm only waiting to get woken up because my wife decides that 8am Eastern is a good time to call me when I'm back home in Pacific.
