Creating a meme
Inspired by Female CS Grad Student, here's a meme centered around 10.
In 10 minutes, I will want lunch.
In 10 hours, I will be finishing off tonight's pub-round - either with my old algebra students or with the budding grad student community.
In 10 days, I will see Ireland with my wife, cherishing the days we can get together.
In 10 weeks, I will be practicing my defense 8 days in advance. (yes, me and FCSGS both)
In 10 months, I will hopefully have landed and started a postdoc. The fogs are closing over this time though.
In 10 years, I will have settled on some way to balance my career, my wife's career and both our wishes to actually, y'know, LIVE together.
